SEALED BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a sealed battery inexpensive and excellent in heat resistance, airtightness and liquid tightness as well as reducing cost of insulated packing without sacrificing the heat resistance and a sealing property. SOLUTION: The insulated packing 8 to seal and electrically insulate a part between a cover 6 and an output terminal 9 is constituted of an outside packing 81 arranged on the outer surface side of the cover 6 and an inside packing 82 arranged on the inner surface side of the cover 6, and shaft insertion holes 81a, 82a are respectively provided through on these outside packing 81 and the inside packing 82. Additionally, the outside packing 81 is held with the cover 6 and a head part 20 of the output terminal 9 and the inside packing 82 is held with the cover 6 and a calking shaft part 22 formed on the other end of the shaft part 21 in a state where the shaft part 21 of the output terminal 9 is inserted through and fitted in these shaft insertion holes 81a, 82a.
