Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize furnace temperature distribution, enhance thermal efficiency and reduce NOx, while improving durability of a heating furnace in regard to a combustion device for the heating furnace. SOLUTION: The combustion device for the heating furnace is provided with an oxygen-containing gas supply passage supplying oxygen-containing gas for combustion into the furnace and a fuel supplying means B arranged in a midway part of the oxygen-containing gas supply passage and provided with a fuel jetting part 10 jetting fuel gas into the furnace, and the fuel jetting part 10 is provided with a center nozzle 11 and a plurality of peripheral nozzles 12 positioned around it. The fuel supplying means B jets the fuel gas so that jetting directions from the center nozzle 11 and the peripheral nozzles 12 are mutually parallel or substantially parallel, and the fuel gas is composed so that it is jetted from the center nozzle 11 at a jetting speed faster than the peripheral nozzles 12.
