HEAD JOINING STRUCTURE FOR PILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head joining structure for a pile capable of alleviating an earthquake effect furthermore than prior art, improving aseismatic strength against pitching, and improving workability regarding joining work with a structure side. SOLUTION: A deforming member 4 comprising rubber or the like is installed around an upper part of an upper end face and side faces near an upper end of the pile 1. A top face and side faces of the deforming member are crowned by a cap like rigid member 8 comprising steel or the like. A plurality of headed bolts 5 or double end studs loosely inserted with space in a plurality of insertion holes 9 formed on the rigid member 8 are screwed through the deforming member into a pile head end plate 3 provided on the upper end face of the pile 1. A reinforcement 10 is installed on a top face of the rigid member 8. By integrally forming the deforming member 4 like a cap also, the workability can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
