APPARATUS FOR TREATING AND PREPARING FOOD BY GAS COMBUSTION HEATING AND HEAT EXCHANGER MEANS FOR SUCH APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating and preparing food in a cooking chamber by enabling remarkably low heating power and bringing remarkably low loss of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: The apparatus (1) for treating and preparing food is equipped with the cooking chamber (5) where the foods are treated and cooked. The apparatus is equipped with a motor-driven ventilation fan (9) which is useful for circulating the air in the cooking chamber and also is equipped with a burner (31) which serves for burning mixture of gas and air. The cooking chamber is heated with a heat exchanger means (29) and the heat exchanger means (29) is equipped with the heat exchanging pipe means and the heat exchanging pipe means surrounds the ventilation fan (9). The heat exchanging pipe means is equipped with at least two pipe elements (41) and the pipe elements (41) continuously almost contact a ventilation wheel (9) or extend going around it.
