Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy modifying agent having an eliminating action an active oxygen by a new mechanism of action. SOLUTION: This energy modifying agent comprises a plant extract having a modifying action on the high reactivity of an active oxygen molecular seed to light energy and releasing the energy to the outside. A cosmetic composition comprises the energy modifying agent. A food or beverage comprises the energy modifying agent. Since the energy modifying agent has the modifying action on the high reactivity (high energy) of the active oxygen molecular seed to light energy and releasing the energy to the outside, the active oxygen molecular seed can safely by eliminated in the organisms. Various disorders of organisms including skin disorders caused by the active oxygen can be improved by applying the cosmetic composition or the food or beverage composition containing the energy modifying agent and prevention and improvement of skin aging can be performed thereby.
