STORAGE TYPE ASSIST GRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the damper effect of a viscous damper 27 even if a grip body 1 is expanded and contracted due to changes in temperature in a storage type assist grip G provided with a pair of mount seats 11 and 13 to be fixed to a car body panel P, a long grip body 1 which supported on the mount seats 11 and 13 pivotally through leg sections 1a and 1b respectively, a torsion coil spring 29 for turning the grip body 1 to a storing position from an operating position and the viscous damper 27 for reducing the energizing force of the torsion coil spring 29. SOLUTION: A spacer coil spring 71 is intervened between the inside face of the bearing section 5 of the storage recessed section 3 of the leg section 1a to which the viscous damper 27 is provided and the side face 17a on the side of the bearing section 5 in the support section 27 of the viscous damper 27 to energize a spacer 31 in the direction in which the spacer 31 is inserted in the support section 17.
