Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine component and a manufacturing method of the sewing machine component capable of preventing wear and seizure of a sliding face and providing oilless operation by providing favorable lubricity in the sliding face wherein a sliding member and a member subjected to sliding mutually slide. SOLUTION: In a sliding face 1a of a needlebar 1 and a sliding face of a needlebar bushing 2, disulfide compound layers 7 containing a disulfide compound are formed so as to cover the sliding face 1a.
