TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot bath type treatment apparatus in which a body temperature can be efficiently elevated while saving the pain or consumption of a person being treated. SOLUTION: The body of a person H to be treated is immersed in hot water 11 in a treatment tub 10. The treatment tub 10 is provided with a water current generating means 20. The water current generating means 20 is composed of a first hot water injection pipe 21 and a second hot water injection pipe 22. The first hot water injection pipe 21 generates a water current mainly consisting of an eddy within a horizontal plane for hot water 11. The second hot water injection pipe 22 generates a water current mainly consisting of convection within a vertical plane for the hot water 11. The kinetic energy level of the water current generated by the first hot water injection pipe 21 is higher than the kinetic energy level of the water current generated by the second hot water injection pipe 22. After taking a hot bath on the condition that the first hot water injection pipe 21 generates the water current for the hot water of a temperature lower than a target level, a hot bath is successively taken on the condition that the second hot water injection pipe generates the water current for the hot water of a temperature of the target level.
