Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm bath type thermotherapy apparatus which can raise the temperature of a diseased body part higher than that of other parts. SOLUTION: The body of a patient H to be treated is submerged into hot water 11 within a medical treatment tub 10. The hot water 11 is circulated through a circulation tube 45, a pump 33 and a heater 42, and is maintained at a predetermined temperature. Bu supplying hot water of temperature hotter than the average temperature of the hot water 11 to the part of the body of the patient H to be treated from a nozzle 85 of a local area heating device 80, the part of the body is heated to a higher temperature than that of other parts.
