Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space division multiplex access apparatus, an adaptive array antenna base station, a terminal and a control method therefor in which the adaptive array antenna base station transmits an instruction for selecting a terminal antenna element to the terminal. SOLUTION: In the space division multiplex access apparatus, the adaptive array antenna base station, the terminal and the control method therefor, a terminal transmission antenna determination part 144 is provided for determining a terminal antenna element 21M for a transmission in each of terminals 2 on the basis of signals among the respective terminals, spatial correlation values among the respective terminals and the difference of the spatial correlation values found by a terminal correlation detection part 143, and each terminal 2 is provided with a changeover switch control part 24 for sending the instruction transmitted from the terminal transmission antenna determination part 144 for selecting the terminal antenna element 21M to a changeover switch 23.
