OPTICAL PICKUP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup that enables tilt adjustment without adding a tilt adjusting function to the movable part equipped with an objective lens and supported movably through a supporting wire. SOLUTION: The optical pickup 1 is equipped with an objective lens 2, a movable part 3 having a focus coil 8 and a tracking coil 9, a movable part supporting section 4 that movably supports the movable part through a supporting wire 7, and yoke 5 in which the movable part supporting section is installed in a rockable manner and in which a permanent magnet 10 for the movable part is mounted correspondingly to the focus coil and the tracking coil. The tilt adjustment of the optical pickup is performed by installing a tilt driving part 11 separately from the movable part, controlling electric current supplied to the winding of a tilt coil 12 in a tilt driving part, and thereby rocking the movable part supporting section.
