USB HUB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an USB hub, in which a plurality of host computers is capable of jointly owning peripheral equipment and switching operations are needless. SOLUTION: The USB hub comprises; a plurality of connecting ports 2 capable of connecting with a plurality of host computers 21 to 24 that packet- transmit and receive data assigned addresses; a plurality of connecting ports 3 capable of connecting with a plurality of peripheral equipment 25 to 28 that packet-transmit and receive data assigned addresses; FIFO memories 11 and 17 temporarily storing packet data inputted from the ports 2 and 3; and a control circuit C establishing connection between the host computers 21 to 24 and peripheral equipment 25 to 28 and controlling transmission of data at the basis of address information of the peripheral equipment 25 to 28 added to the packet data stored in the FIFO memories 11 and 17.
