Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a estimating apparatus for measured seismic intensity, capable of highly reliably and highly accurately estimating data on the measured seismic intensity, by measuring earthquake motion indices of the type that can be easily measured and performing simple arithmetic processings, based on the measured values of such earthquake motion indices. SOLUTION: A measured seismic intensity estimated value computing means 2 applies arithmetic processings, based on arithmetic rules previously determined, in such a way as to determine highly accurate estimated values within a specific allowable error range on the basis of statistical or empirical correlation, on SI values measured by an earthquake motion index measuring part 1 and the values of the earthquake motion indices, such as maximum acceleration, to determine with high accuracy the estimated values of measured seismic intensity, without having to directly measure or compute the measured seismic intensities, which are complicated and which take time.
