Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide construction equipment and a construction method that can reduce necessary performance required for a climbing mechanism for putting a work stage in lifting operation. SOLUTION: This construction equipment is provided with a work stage 7 provided at a construction work machine and arranged above a construction object floor F; posts 6 detachably installed on a post installation floor P positioned below the construction object floor F, to support the work stage 7; and a climbing mechanism 13 integrally provided at the work stage 7 and putting the work stage 7 and the posts 6 in relative lifting operation to move the construction object floor F to the upper floor by lifting the work stage with respect to the posts 6 and to move the post installation floor P to the upper floor by lifting the posts 6 with respect to the work stage 7.
