HYDRAULIC FORMING DIE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic forming die which can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: Both dies split in the die-opening/closing direction are formed in a multiple layers in the die opening/closing direction including die inner layer parts 4 and 7 having the product shape and die outer parts 6 and 9 to provide the clamping pressure, and spaces 19 and 20 of the shape according to the product shape are formed between the die inner layer parts 4 and 7 and the die outer parts 6 and 9 to form the hydraulic forming die 1. The moment to cancel the moment generated in the hydraulic forming die 1 by the stress exerted in the direction orthogonal to the die opening/closing direction during the hydraulic forming operation can be generated in the hydraulic forming die 1. Therefore, the stress exerted in the die inner layer parts 4 and 7 during the hydraulic forming operation can be received by the die outer parts 6 and 9. The size of the die need not be increased so as to withstand the stress exerted in the direction orthogonal to the die opening/closing direction, and the hydraulic forming die 1 can be miniaturized.
