REGRESSION TEST METHOD AND REGRESSION TEST DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an effective test to determine whether or not degradation is generated after software version upgrade. SOLUTION: In addition to a correct answer data pattern collected in collecting correct answer data, a test target data turning out to be test NG because of slight difference in timing in testing but supposed to be test OK under normal circumstances is registered into a correct answer data pattern storage part 52 as a correct answer data pattern or an additional correct answer data pattern. Then, a test target data matching the additional correct answer data pattern differing from the correct answer data pattern because of slight difference in timing at the time of testing but supposed to be test OK under normal circumstances is to be test OK. As a result, the number of test items to be test NG can be reduced, thereby reducing the number of test items to be visually confirmed by a tester and performing an effective test to determine whether or not degradation is generated.
