SUBSTRATE FOR DISPLAY DEVICE, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME, AND DEFECT REPAIRING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a display device which can have a short- circuit defect between bus lines easily repaired and is low in cost and high in manufacture yield, a liquid crystal display device equipped with the same, and its defect repairing method, in a substrate for a display device which is used for the display part of electronic equipment, etc., a liquid crystal display device equipped with the same, and its defect repairing method. SOLUTION: The substrate is constituted by having a plurality of gate bus lines 10 which are formed on the substrate, a plurality of drain bus lines 12 which are formed crossing the gate bus lines 10 across an insulating film formed on the gate bus lines 10, a 1st branch wire 34 which branches off from a drain bus line 12 and has an end part opposite one side part of a gate bus line 10 across a specified gap when viewed at right angles to a substrate surface, and a 2nd branch wire 36 which branches off from the drain bus line 12 and has an end part opposite the other end part of the gate bus line 10 across a specified gap when viewed at right angles to the substrate surface.
