CLEANER FOR WATER SPRAY NOZZLE PROTECTING PIPE IN EXHAUST GAS COOLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner for a water spray nozzle protecting pipe in an exhaust gas cooler, allowing the removal of ash accumulated on the water spray nozzle protecting pipe without removing the water spray nozzle protecting pipe from the exhaust gas cooler. SOLUTION: The cleaner for the water spray nozzle protecting pipe comprises: an ash removing tool 10 insertable into the water spray nozzle protecting pipe 5 in the exhaust gas cooler and having a hook type ash removing part 12 integrally provided at one end of a rod 10a with an ash scraping member 12a spaced from the rod 10a and fixed thereto and a rotation operating part 13 detachably provided at the other end thereof for rotating the rod 10a to rotate the ash removing part 12 around the surface of the water spray nozzle protecting pipe 5; and a guide 11 insertable into the water spray nozzle protecting pipe for rotatably supporting the rod 10a inserted into the water spray nozzle protecting pipe and located on a center line of the water spray nozzle protecting pipe 5.
