Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a penetration aid for lumber which deeply penetrates lumber preserving agents such as a lumber antiseptic agent, an ant-proof agent, an insecticide, a fire retardant, a dyeing agent, perfume, a synthetic resin on the like deep into the lumber at a low cost only by lumber treatments of coating, soaking, punching and injecting methods without requiring equipment or materials for pressurized injection. SOLUTION: The penetration aid for lumber is made by mixing aromatic hydrocarbons, a lower alcohol, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), and methyl isopropyl ketone and fulfills a role as a carrier for deeply penetrating the lumber preserving agents such as the antiseptic agent, the insecticide, the ant-proof agent, the fire retardant, the dyeing agent, perfume, the synthetic resin or the like into the lumber.
