METHOD FOR BENDING PLATE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bending capable of high precisely bending without the variation of plate thickness and the influence of a preceeding process, to and simplify measurement. SOLUTION: In the method for bending a plate material 1, the plate material 1 is arranged on a die 6 having a V-shaped groove 61, and at the same time, a bending punch 5 is pressed to the plate material 1, a position engagement part 3 is formed corresponding to a curve line 2 for bending the side edge surface of the plate material 1 having a prescribed width, and the position engagement part 3 corresponds to the reference line 62 of the V-shaped groove 61 for positioning. After the plate material 1 is arranged to the die 6, the point line 51 of the bending punch 5 is adjusted to the reference line 62 of the V-shaped groove 61 and pressed for bending at the bending line 2 of the plate material 1.
