Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method capable of treating waste generated in an edible oil manufacturing process and capable of achieving the reutilization of the oil, and a treatment apparatus for performing this method. SOLUTION: An alkali aqueous solution is added to the waste generated in the edible oil manufacturing process and the waste is decomposed by a hydrothermal reaction under a subcritical water condition and an oil component is recovered from the hydrothermal reaction after decomposition treatment.
