alpha1,6-FUCOSE TRANSFERASE DERIVED FROM CHO AND ITS GENE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide α1,6-fucose transferase derived from a Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) and its gene (including the DNA and its complementary chain), having a new amino acid sequence and base sequence. SOLUTION: The α1,6-fucose transferase derived from the CHO and having the specific amino acid sequence, the DNA encoding the enzyme, the strand complementary to the gene, the polynucleotide or the oligonucleotide specifically hybridizing to at least a part of the DNA, the enzyme having one or several mutations in the amino acid sequence of the enzyme, the DNA encoding the enzyme, the vector containing the DNA, the complementary strand, the polynucleotide or the oligonucleotide, the transformant transformed by the vector, and the method for producing the α1,6-fucose transferase derived from the CHO, involving a step for culturing the transformant are provided.
