GROUND BAIT CAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground bait cage having great fish gathering effects by smooth diffusion of a ground bait and readily washable after use. SOLUTION: The ground bait cage is equipped with a nearly inverted conical sinker part 1 and a housing part 2 provided above the sinker part 1. The ground bait placed in the housing part 2 can be diffused in water. The housing part 2 is formed of a wiry material 5 stretched into a netlike state. A metal wiry material covered with a synthetic resin on the outer periphery is used as the wiry material 5. Polyvinyl chloride is preferably used as the synthetic resin. The housing part 2 is formed into a spindle shape and is preferably provided with a part having ≥5 and ≤10 cm radius of curvature in the upper part of the central vertical cross-sectional shape of the housing part 2. An opening 8 without the wiry material 5 stretched thereon is preferably provided under the housing part 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
