HTTP CERTIFICATION METHOD, AND SERVER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HTTP (hyper text transfer protocol) certification method capable of easily conducting certification work, and improving security without conducting troublesome operation on the client side. SOLUTION: A portable telephone 200 possessed by a user having a right to access first dials to a server device 100 in remotely operating a PC 400 or a VTR 401. A URL (uniform resource locator) management part 103 then forms a disposable password having an expiry date to be notified to an SMTP client 104. The SMTP client 104 forms an electronic mail describing a URL burying the password to be sent to the portable telephone 200. The portable telephone 200 designates the URL to access the HTTP server 106. The HTTP server 106 refers to the password buried in the URL to conduct certification work for sending HTML data, or remotely controlling household devices. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
