REFRACTIVE BODY CONSTITUTED BY COMBINING LENS AND APERTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractive body which is specially suitable for use in a raster scanner and possesses a lens, a holder and an aperture. SOLUTION: A light conditioning member 35 is an optical refractive body consisting of a resin material such as plastic. It can be made of a refractive material other than the resin material. The member 35 includes the part of the lens 32, the part of the diaphragm 34, and the part of the holder 37. The part of the diaphragm 34 is constituted of the parts 34a-34d of the refractive body formed so as to surround the lens 32. The action of the diaphragm is performed by changing the advancing direction of excessive light so as to make it divert from the optical path of a scanner by refraction or reflection by the parts 34a-34d.
