Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an optical filter for a display free from image defects and having excellent appearance performance and to provide a plasma display device. SOLUTION: The filter for a display is so constituted that an adhesive material 30, a transparent conductive film 20 comprising a conductive layer 201, an adhesive layer 30 and a low reflective film 40 are successively laminated on a transparent plate-shaped substrate 10 and an electrode 50 electrically connected with the conductive layer 201 is formed on the peripheral part of the low reflective film 40. The transparent conductive film 20 and the plate- shaped substrate 10 are pressed at 0.7 to 1.2 MPa pressure after being stuck to each other, thereby removing fine bubbles involved therebetween when they are stuck to each other.
