COTTON FEEDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cotton feeding device capable of mixing cotton materials fed from two or more bale opening devices so as to feed the materials into one carding machine. SOLUTION: In this cotton feeding machine having two or more bale opening devices 30, the cotton materials are each scraped from bales P by using cotton scraping units 32 in the bale opening devices 30, then the scraped cotton materials are fed into one cotton material mixing device 10 by pneumatic transportation. The mixed cotton materials mixed by the cotton material mixing device 10 are further transported and fed into one shoot feeder 2 of the carding machine 1. Thus, two or more kinds of the cotton materials are mixed, so that a carded material satisfying a wide variety of user's requirement is formed. Further, the device is suitable for producing small amounts of the materials in a wide variety of their kinds, because a set-up unit of the material corresponds to one unit of the carding machine.
