Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titania nanotube useful as a catalyst carrier for a fuel cell or an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst, which has a large specific surface area and pores at a wall. SOLUTION: The titania nanotube has pores at a tube wall. Preferably, the titania nanotube has a mesopore diameter is 5-20 nm, length is 10-500 nm and a pore diameter at the wall is 1-5 nm. A suitable catalyst for the fuel cell or the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst is composed by carrying a noble metal at the titania nanotube.
