SOLUTION: The adhesive tape affixing device 10 is to affix the adhesive tape 15 to the object 13 and is equipped with a tape levitating means 55 to levitate the tape 15 pneumatically while it is held in such a way that its undersurface serves as an adhesion surface 15a, a tape suction holding means 65 to suck and hold the oversurface 15b of the levitated tape 15, and a tape moving means 80 to affix the tape 15 to the object 13 upon moving the tape suction holding means 15 to the object 13.
