SOLUTION: The bucket elevator collision prevention device 1, which comprises the mounting brackets 3 and 4 disposed at a vertical interval on a bucket elevator 2 and each extended horizontally, a rope 5 stretched between the mounting brackets 3 and 4, and a detection part 6 for detecting a tension change in the rope 5, comprises a bracket guide 8 pivoted for turning motion on a horizontal axis on a fixing system of the bucket elevator 2 and the like and engaged with the rope 5 vertically over tips of the mounting brackets 3 and 4.
