METHOD FOR EXAMINING CAP ROLLED CONDITION IN BOTTLE/CAP ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a clear imaging on a bottle confirming mark and a cap confirming mark and to detect a rolled condition of a bottle and a cap by an always sure image processing in a method for examination for detecting the rolled condition of the bottle and the cap by imaging the bottle confirming mark and the cap confirming mark by means of a single camera. SOLUTION: An optical lens is arranged above the vertical central axis of a bottle/cap assembly in such a way that this axis coincides with an optic axis and a single camera is arranged above the optic axis of the optical lens. Optical paths of light emitted from lighting units arranged around the optical lens are adjusted and while illumination is performed under a condition where the bottle confirming mark and the cap confirming mark are not directly irradiated with the light and a skirt part of the cap where the cap confirming mark is not formed is directly irradiated with the light, the bottle confirming mark and the cap confirming mark are simultaneously photographed by the camera through the optical lens and the quality of the rolled condition of the cap is determined from the photographed image data.
