FILLING APPARATUS AND PTP PACKAGING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling apparatus and a PTP packaging machine which can reduce a frequency at which a failure is determined by filling articles to be filled such as tablets or others into pocket portions formed in a sheet in a proper filling position and improve productivity. SOLUTION: A tablet filling apparatus 11 has a rotating drum 23 having housing pockets 24 for housing the tablets 2 above the container film 10 conveyed horizontally and a guide member 26 along the outer periphery surface of the rotating drum 23. The lower tip of the guide member 26 extends to a slightly forward position beyond the lowest point of the rotating drum 23, and a substantially V-shaped notch 27 in a plan view is formed at the tip. The bore of the opening end of the notch 27 is greater than the diameter of the tablets 2. In filling the tablets 2, the tablet 2 conveyed onto the notch 27 begins to incline and at the same time the support of the tablet 2 by the guide member 26 is cancelled, and the tablet 2 horizontally falls.
