CLEANING APPARATUS FOR ROTATION TYPE DRUM SCREEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus which can efficiently remove soil of screen even with a pump which is small-sized, has a simple structure and has a small capacity and enables airtight sealing. SOLUTION: A drum screen 1 disposed in a cylindrical cover 2 is cleaned by spraying cleaning liquid from a cleaning nozzle disposed on the front ends of six lines of passages 8. The cleaning liquid is ejected from a pump in a high pressure and high temperature cleaning liquid supply device 11, is divided into six portions and is allowed to flow in the respective passages 8. Motor operated valves 7 are disposed on the respective passages and the opening and closing of the respective motor operated valves 7 is controlled in accordance with signals from a motor operated valve control device 12. The motor operated valve 7 of the passage 8 connected with the cleaning nozzle which cleans the spot where the extent of soil of the drum screen 1 is high is allowed to remove the soil completely by setting an opening time longer compared with the other motor operated valves 7.
