EXTRACTION APPARATUS AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extraction apparatus and method which is applied, for example, for an extractor micronized to integrate on a microtip and by which an extract is extracted from a trace quantity of a collected body with a minute quantity of a solvent. SOLUTION: In one embodiment, the extraction apparatus for extracting the extract from a material to be extracted by applying the solvent on the material to be extracted which holds the extract has a distillation chamber formed among a plurality of members by connecting a plurality of the members and having an entrance of the solvent, an extraction chamber communicating with the distillation chamber through a fine pipe, having introducing port for introducing the material to be extracted to the inside and provided above the distillation chamber, a heating means provided to heat the distillation chamber and a cooling means provided to cool at least the extraction chamber.
