Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate which uniformly emits light from a light emitting surface and can suppress generation of bright streaks. SOLUTION: This light guide plate has an emitting plane and a reflection plane provided opposite to each other, and the light made incident from an LED light source provided on one end surface or from LED light sources provided on the two end surfaces opposite to each other is emitted from the light emitting plane. In the emitting plane, a light diffusion pattern, in which a plurality of striped recessed parts are arranged so as to extend in the direction virtually orthogonal to the end face, is repeatedly formed from one side face of the light transmission plate to the other side face over almost the whole surface. The light diffusion pattern is formed of the plurality of striped recessed parts having different sections in the direction in parallel with the end faces. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
