ROUTER AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize efficient hand-over with high reliability in an IP network. SOLUTION: Routers B11 to B16 located at the end of a communication area 10 of an access network 1 transmit a message (end message) denoting the location of them at the end of the communication area to a mobile communication terminal (MN) 5 by means of a router advertisement message. While the MN 5 makes communication with the access network 1, when the MN 5 receives the end message from the router B15, the MN 5 starts connection to a router (e.g. a router R22) in an access network 2a and begins communication. The mobile communication terminal can start connection to the access network 2 before the connection to the access network 1 is interrupted by receiving the end message in this way so as to prevent packet loss or the like caused at hand-over.
