Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photosensitive material which ensures good coated surface quality even in the case of high-speed coating and rapid drying of a coating liquid for a planographic printing plate comprising a gelatin- containing silver halide photosensitive material and is free of occurrence of unevenness even after development and to provide a method for making the same. SOLUTION: In a making process of the silver halide photosensitive material, fine gelatin particles are washed with water at ≤25°C or gelatin is dissolved once, precipitated using a sulfate and/or a water-soluble polymer and washed with water and the resultant gelatin is used.
