METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LOCATING WIRING FAILURE POINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locating method and system for wiring failure point capable of specifying identifying the occurrence point of intermittent ground fault failure regardless of the wiring system and the ground fault conditions. SOLUTION: A frequency that the voltage level is maximum of VFT in high frequency components observed at the most distant observation point PT from the power source end of the wiring is extracted as a standardization reference frequency. From the high frequency components observed at each observation point PS, P1and P2at the same time, voltages VFS, VF1and VF2corresponding frequencies to the standardization reference frequency are extracted. The cross point of a voltage line LT linearly approximating the voltages VF2and VFT of a plurality of observation points P2and PT in most end side from the ground fault point (t) with parameters of distances of each observation points PS, P1and P2and a voltage line LS linearly approximating the voltage VF1and VFS of a plurality of observation points P1and PS in power source side from the ground fault point (t) is specified as a ground fault point (t).
