Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knapsack type recoil starter for a power-machine in which starting operation is easily performed in a shouldered state, lightweight and lower cost is realized than those of a cell motor type and further a recoil handle hardly hinders workers and is easily gripped and drawn out. SOLUTION: A recoil rope (25) and the recoil handle (30) attached to one end of the recoil rope are drawn out from a starter main body (20A) downwardly in front and slantingly at an angle of from 100 to 150 degrees (α) against a horizontal plane (K). The recoil handle (30) comprises a grip portion (31) wider than a palm (H) of a worker (M) and a pendent portion (32) provided in a pint of the grip portion (31) in a drawing-out direction, while exhibiting a T-shape in side view.
