Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To noninvasively observe the cardiac output of a patient. SOLUTION: This patient observation device (100) is equipped with a noninvasive cardiac output sensor (146) and a patient observation console (110). The noninvasive cardiac output sensor (146) can acquire a signal from the patient which indicates a bloodstream passing through the heart of the patient. The patient observation console (110) includes an analysis module (175) and a display. The analysis module (175) is connected with the noninvasive cardiac output sensor (146), processes the signal from the patient indicating the bloodstream and forms a value regarding the cardiac output.
