PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaster capable of making a visual performance effect change, by making a plurality of light emitting body flashing on and off in various patterns when a vessel is put on. SOLUTION: The coaster comprises a main body having a putting surface on which, a vessel like a glass or a vase can be put, a detection part 8 detecting the existence of the vessel on the putting surface, a plurality of light emitting bodies 6 mounted to the main body, a control part 10 making the light emitting bodies 6 flash on and off with a prescribed pattern when the vessel is detected by the detection part 8, and flashing pattern changing means 10, 12 capable of changing the flashing pattern of the light emitting bodies 6 controlled by the control part 10.
