METHOD OF PROTECTING CULTURAL PROPERTY OF THE LIKE FROM SEISMIC HAZARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a cultural properties from falling objects of concrete fragment or the like, when a partial breakdown of a display area occurs on the ceiling due to an earthquake. SOLUTION: In a normal display, a door 10 to close an opening part is in a standing-up state, and movement is stopped by a door moving stopper 24, but in occurring of the earthquake, a couple of two sheets of open-close plates 16 is opened and the cultural property or the like is kept in a protection bag. When the couple of two sheets of the open-close plates 16 opens 45 degrees or more during actuations in series in the occurring of the earthquake, a switch 18 for door movement initiation detects that the open-close plates 16 are surely opened, the door moving stopper 24 moves downward, the door 10 moves by its own weight, the upper side opening part of the protecting bag is completely closed, and the cultural property or the like can be protected surely from the earthquake.
