Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the portability of a spare external recording medium without making a camera itself large. SOLUTION: A power feed system for a camera which has a battery chamber 11 for housing power supply batteries BT and is inserted into a digital still camera that records data in an external recording medium MC in an insertable and extractable way to feed power to the camera is provided with a recording medium housing part 12 for housing the spare external recording medium MC. The recording medium housing part may be provided independently without being used in common with a battery chamber and may be used in common with the battery chamber.
