COIL COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component that prevents the coil height from increasing, even if the coil component is mounted on a circuit board or on a case. SOLUTION: This coil component has a bobbin 23, having a through-hole 21 and upper and lower flanges 22, a coil 24 wound around the bobbin 23, a coil body 30 forming a closed magnetic circuit 29 having a form of square shaped theta by connecting the center magnetic leg 26 and outer magnetic legs 28, and two fixtures 31 to secure the coil main 30 on a circuit board or on a case. The fixture 31 is made in one body of a magnetic core securing part 32, covering the side of the closed magnetic circuit core 29 and a board securing part 33 to fix the coil body 30 on a circuit board or on a case.
