Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for discriminating on-vehicle equipment that accurately discriminate an ETC vehicle (normal ETC vehicle) from a non-ETC vehicle (abnormal ETC vehicle), in a toll gate lane where the ETC vehicle and the non-ETC vehicle travel mixedly. SOLUTION: Inter-lane-vehicluar communication for a BST (beacon service table) and a VST (vehicle service table) is processed as finished between a lane server and an on-vehicle equipment in a step 51. The lane server registers an LID (link address) of the on-vehicle equipment acquired in the VST in the inter-lane-vehicular communication in an LID control table, and updates an LID control area concurrently, in a step 52. A communication request from the same LID is processed as required to the lane server in the inter-lane- vehicular communication for the vehicle advanced into a communicatable area, in a step 53. In this case, the lane server finishes the communication immediately since it gets clear by referring to the LID control table that the LID for which the communication is already finished is registered, in a step 54.
