PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE, REFERENCE TIMEPIECE AND TIMEPIECE-FUNCTION ADJUSTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a clock signal in a portable electronic device on the basis of the reference time of a reference timepiece whose time is corrected by standard waves. SOLUTION: An analog electronic wristwatch 10 is provided with an oscillation part 11, a device-clock-signal generation part 20, a device-time counter 30, a device-clock-signal correction part 60 and a reference-time acquisition part 50. The correction part 60 is provided with a timing-signal output part 70, a reference-time calculation part 80, a device-time calculation part 90 and a control-signal correction part 61. The correction part 60 corrects a control signal used in the generation part 20 in such a way that a device clock signal is adjusted to a reference clock signal (1 Hz). Thereby, a cycle of the device- clock-signal in the wristwatch 10 is adjusted to a cycle of a reference clock signal in the reference timepiece 100. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
