PROTECTIVE COVER FOR LOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover for a lock being particularly combined with an end section on the keyhole side of a lock member, preventing the infiltration of dust, rainwater or the like into a keyhole and preventing the trouble of the lock member. SOLUTION: The protective cover for the lock is composed of a cover member 10 and two sealing plates 20. The cover member 10 is formed in a cap- shaped body capable of being rotated for installing at the end section of the keyhole side of the lock member 30. An opening 12 corresponding to the keyhole is formed at the center of a face plate 11 secured on one side of the cover member while the two sealing plates 20 are mounted pivotally on the end face of the lock member 30 through positioning posts 21. The two sealing plates 20 are interlocked with the rotation of the cover member 10 by fitting guide posts 22 into slots 13 in the cover member 10 respectively, and the keyhole of the lock member 30 is sealed.
