Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the effect of a clock signal, being fed to an empty memory slot mounting no memory module, on the radiation noise level in a main memory comprising an SDRAM module. SOLUTION: A print controller employing a memory module of SDRAM in the main memory and having a plurality of memory slots capable of mounting a plurality of memory modules is provided with a function for detecting a memory slot mounting no memory module when the number of sheets of mounting memory modules is less than the number of memory slots and interrupting clock signal supply to that memory slot.
