IMAGE SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD AND IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow to obtain an excellent photographing image even at a low speed shoot and to display an image without deteriorated dynamic resolution and the image at the slow speed shoot. SOLUTION: A digital low pass filter 21 applies filter processing in a time base direction to an image signal DVbof a photographed image to produce an image signal DVeof an image whose dynamic resolution is degraded similarly to the case with extending an exposure time. The frames of the image signal DVeare interleaved to produce an image signal DVgwith a desired frame period similarly to the case with a low speed shoot. A switch 23 selects the image signal DVeor DVbas an image signal DVhfor a monitor image. The selection of the image signal DVbobtains the monitor image with no deterioration in the dynamic resolution and the selection of the image signal DVepermits confirmation of the image at the low speed shoot.
