Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce current consumption over a wide transmission power range. SOLUTION: In an ACPR control part 12, a leaked power ratio is obtained concerning a radio transmitting signal branched by a directional coupler 8 and power to be supplied to a power amplifier 7 is variably controlled so as to make this leaked power ratio close to a reference value. In a fixed control part 13, it is monitored whether a gain command value to be determined in accordance with the setting value of transmission power is less than a prescribed threshold or not. When the gain command value is less than the prescribed threshold, the fixed control part 13 stops operating the ACPR control part 12 and impresses the power amplifier 7 with a fixed bias.
